Is your skin looking dull and aged? 

Then you are in need of a reboot or a quick detox.  Our Derm-Align Detox™ will take your wellbeing to the next level from the inside out. Your skin will perform optimally once you clean out the clutter of your dietary life. Think of this as a way to transform your taste buds, digestion, and nutrition assimilation to better feed your skin cells. This means better looking skin and less inflammation. Even just doing this for a few days, or one day a week, will help to adjust your biology and as well as your attitude toward food.

Here's the Rundown for the dietary cleanse: 

  • 4-7 days in duration.
  • Use only organic foods.
  • Drink 12oz water upon waking. Try warm water with lemon.  
    • Fasting with nothing other than water from 7pm-7am, or a 12- hour window after finishing your last smoothie of the day. 
    • Drink 100 oz of water with lemon daily
  • DO NOT exercise other than walking, light stretching, or rebounding during the cleanse period. Exercise produces lactic acid and will interfere with the detox process. Because your calorie consumption will be low, heavier exercise could cause muscle breakdown. 
  • Use a heavy-duty blender such as Vitamix, Ninja, Blendtec or Nutribullet to prepare your smoothies.

Foods to Avoid

  • Processed foods 
  • Sugar and artificial sweeteners
  • Gluten
  • Dairy and all animal products
  • Saturated fats
  • Caffeine

Supplements* to use daily:

  • Probiotic with at least 50-billion count- take 1 daily 
  • Udo’s oil omega 3,6,9 fatty acids- see dietary cleanse
  • B complex vitamin-take 1 daily
  • Digestive enzymes- use as directed

 

Dietary Cleanse Schedule:

7 am: Smoothie 

10 am: 1.5 tbsp Udo’s oil, with small slice of pineapple or orange chaser.

1pm: Smoothie 

4pm: 1.5 tbsp Udo’s oil, with a small slice of pineapple or orange chaser. 

7pm: Smoothie

Smoothie Recipes:Combine your choice of the following ingredients and blend thoroughly. 

  • Choose a liquid base: 1 cup of filtered water, coconut water or coconut milk
  • Add ½-1 cup ice
  • Choose a natural sweetener (choose 1 or multiple to make 1 cup): banana,  berries, apple, pineapple or orange
  • Add your veggies (choose 1 or multiple to make 2-3 cups): spinach, kale, fennel, zucchini, broccoli, celery, cucumber or parsley
  • Optional add ins: ¼ cup avocado, almonds or dates
  • Spice it up (optional): ½-1 tsp of fresh ginger, cayenne, lemon, lime or turmeric

Derm-Align™ Skin Reset:

1. Detox Mask Day 1 and Day 4:

  • Prepare your mask:  In a small bowl, blend together 4 pumps of our Mikel Kristi Balancing Mask, 4 squirts of our Lavender Hibiscus Toner, 2 pumps of our BioPeptide Serum and/or our Vital C serum.
  • Cleanse face and neck with our Refreshing or Purifying Botanical Wash
  • Pat skin dry
  • Apply thick layer of the Balancing Mask blend and leave on for 15-30 minutes.  If possible, use this time to do a mental break with meditation and a bathtub soak with Epsom salts and lavender essential oils. 
  • Rinse and then follow your normal routine (see table below).
